Inclusive education means all children and young people are engaged and achieve through being present, participating, learning and belonging. During Week 12 Case Study Forum, my group presented our case on Gender-Neutral Washrooms, exposing exclusion and discriminatory instances against transgender students. This goal has been further strengthened by the Convention on the Rights of persons with disabilities (2006) and the Sustainable Development Goals (2015), the former making inclusive education a fundamental human right and the latter tying it to a broader global development agenda.
